For our last project of the school year, we got the opportunity to design a ceiling tile. What we did was get a large piece of paper that's big enough to cover the ceiling tile. Once completely, they are to be attached overtop of the tile.
Me and my partner, Jenna, decided to draw an alien. First off, we drew in pencil the outline of the alien then began to draw the colorful and bright pink, orange, and yellow lines across the paper. Next, after each stripe was completed, we started painting the green skin of the alien, then continued on to paint the eyes black. Lastly, we took a granite grey around him as an outline to make him really pop, being in front of the bright colors.
The most challenging part was probably painting the stripes because it felt endless and boring. Other than that, I found this project a great assignment to finish the year off on!
